About Me

Based in Hertfordshire, I specialise in landscape, travel and documentary photography, examples of which are displayed in the Galleries.

Grounded in landscape photography, with an emphasis on tight composition to create a sense of order from the random and disparate elements of nature, I have more recently become interested in how photography can extend the limits of our perception of the world around us, and embrace the impermanence and imperfection of nature through the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi.

Through my landscape and abstract images I hope to create a sense of the intangible, hinting at something beyond the confines of the frame. Under the Inspirational heading in the menu you will find links to some of the photographers who have recently inspired me.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like information on any of the images represented here.
